Amitabh Bachchan Pens a Heartfelt Tribute for His Sholay Co-star Late Dharmendra_我的网站

A |     Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan mourned the loss of his dear friend and legendary actor, Dharmendra. The latter breathed his last at the age of 89 after suffering from health-related issues. He was cremated at the Pawan Hans Crematorium on November 24 and several celebrities, including Amitabh Bachchan and his Abhishek Bachchan had come to pay their last respects.          Dharmendra's Sholay co-star penned an emotional note on his blog and recalled their bond. Big B shared, "...another valiant Giant has left us .. left the arena .. leaving behind a silence with an unbearable sound ..Dharamji .. the epitome of greatness, ever linked not only for his renowned physical presence, but for the largeness of his heart, and its most endearing simplicity. He brought with him the earthiness of the village in Punjab he came from, and remained true to its temperament un soiled throughout his glorious career, in  a fraternity that witnessed changes every decade .. ...the fraternity underwent changes .. not him."     He concluded by writing, “His smile, his charm and his warmth, extending to all that came in his vicinity .. a rarity in the profession, the air about us swings vacant, a vacuum that shall ever remain vacuus..prayers."          Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra shared the screen in several films like Sholay, Chupke Chupke, Ram Balram and Dost among others. Notably, his last film, Ikkis, stars Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda along with Jaideep Ahlawat and others.     Dharmendra made his debut in 1960 and quickly became a superstar. He was known for his versatility, mastering roles from the romantic hero to the tough action star. His career boasts over 300 films, many of which are considered classics today. Dharmendra is survived by his wife, actress Hema Malini, his first wife Prakash Kaur, and his children, including actors Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, and daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.      Also Read: PHOTOS: Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Sanjay Dutt and More Attend Dharmendra’s Last Rites。    In a WhatsApp message, Kneissl wrote that she was “not giving interviews” and had to leave the country due to “death threats.”,On May 19, the European Parliament adopted a resolution demanding that former EU politicians resign from posts in Russian enterprises and called on the European Commission to sanction EU citizens in leadership positions in Russian entities or receiving money from Russia.,"[The European Parliament] notes that former politicians such as Esko Aho, Francois Fillon and Wolfgang Schussel have recently resigned from their positions in Russian firms and strongly demands that others, such as Karin Kneissl and Gerhard Schröder, do the same; further calls on the Council to extend the list of individuals targeted by EU sanctions to the European members of the boards of major Russian companies and to politicians who continue to receive Russian money," the text of the resolution read.,Kneissl has been criticized many times for her ties with Russia. Apart from her position as an independent director of Russia's Rosneft Board of Directors, which she had to quit on May 20, Kneissl's wedding in 2018 also sparked a scandal after Russian President Vladimir Putin attended the event. Apart from dancing with the bride, Putin shouted "Now a kiss!" in German, and signed his name across the newlyweds' car.,Karin Kneissl served as Austrian Foreign Minister between 2017 and 2019.。
