China and India held the 36th meeting of the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination on China-India Border Affairs (WMCC) in New Delhi on Thursday. The two sides exchanged views on issues including boundary delineation, border management and control, mechanism building, and cross-border cooperation, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said on Friday.
Both sides agreed to maintain communication through diplomatic and military channels and work together to safeguard peace and tranquility in the border areas, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
The meeting was co-chaired by Hou Yanqi, director-general of the Department of Boundary and Ocean Affairs of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Sujit Ghosh, Joint Secretary (East Asia) in the Indian Ministry of External Affairs. Officials from the two countries' foreign affairs, defense, interior and immigration departments also attended the meeting.

。 8月26日消息，据新华社报道，8月25日提请十四届全国人大常委会第二十四次会议初次审议的《道路交通安全法修订草案》，新增“自动驾驶汽车的特别规定”专章，首次在国家法律层面明确自动驾驶汽车和辅助驾驶功能的概念，并规定了自动驾驶功能激活状态下的违法责任归属。修订草案共9章170条，明确了自动驾驶汽车的上道路行驶条件、违章处理原则和保险制度等。

B | 自动驾驶汽车需通过道路通行规则符合性测试并依法登记后，方可上道路行驶。 草案将自动驾驶功能激活状态下发生的交通违法责任归于车企，这一划分被视为自动驾驶立法的关键突破。中国汽车流通协会乘联分会负责人崔东树就此发文指出，草案落地后，未来或将形成两种保险并行的新格局：一种是车主购买的“非激活状态”车险，覆盖人工驾驶场景；另一种是车企购买的“自动驾驶产品责任险”，对应激活状态下的风险责任。 他认为，既然激活状态下的违法责任归于车企，保险产品的设计逻辑也应相应调整。崔东树还提到，自动驾驶汽车会记录大量行驶数据，以后保险定价可能更加公平，“开得安全就便宜，风险高就贵点”。
